Exam Auditors play a key role in ensuring the integrity of City & Guilds examinations by visiting centres to monitor the conduct of exams. As an Exam Auditor, you will be a vital part of the City & Guilds quality assurance team, monitoring centres to ensure their examinations are delivered in line with City & Guilds and regulatory requirements.  You will be given training on carrying out audit visits.

We are looking for people with a clean driving licence, the flexibility to travel sometimes at short notice, and who can commit about 30 days a year to this role.

Exam Auditors are contracted on an annual basis and are not employed by the City & Guilds Group.

  • Role requirements

      The Exam Auditor is a vital part of ensuring the integrity of our examinations.

      You will maintain a thorough knowledge of both the regulatory requirements for conducting examinations and of City & Guilds reporting and IT systems for the role. 

      This is a great opportunity to use your skills to:

      • Review centre examination arrangements
      • Identify risks and ensure appropriate action is taken
      • Develop SMART action plans
      • Effectively communicate details of visits to City & Guilds.
