If so a role as an External Quality Assurer (EQA) may be for you.
Our External Quality Assurers (EQAs) monitor the quality of assessments delivered by our centres, ensuring our qualifications are delivered in line with our regulatory requirements.
We are always looking for new EQAs with solid quality assurance experience and current industry expertise. EQAs are contracted on an annual basis and are not employed by the City & Guilds Group. The EQA role is both a challenging and rewarding experience. You will maintain effective working relationships with allocated centres and City & Guilds.
This is a great opportunity to be able to use your expertise to provide advice and support to new and existing centres, planning and monitoring quality assurance in line with City & Guilds policies and procedures. EQAs will receive support through a range of updates, webinars and briefings, to maintain a thorough knowledge of City & Guilds products, services, and policies.

External Quality Assurer(EQA) roles
While an External Quality Assurer (EQA)conducts and documents quality assurance, advisory and system activities with centres, a Lead External Assurer(LEQA) would support, standardise and quality assure a team of External Quality Assurers. A Vocational Training Qualification( VTQ) Advisor provides technical advice and guidance to Associates and City & guilds.

Exam Auditor roles
Exam Auditors play a key role in ensuring the integrity of City & Guilds examinations by visiting centres to monitor the conduct of exams. As an Exam Auditor, you will be a vital part of the City & Guilds quality assurance team, monitoring centres to ensure their examinations are delivered in line with City & Guilds and regulatory requirements. You will be given training on carrying out audit visits. A Lead Exam Auditor supports and standardises and quality assures a team of Exam Auditor and acts as an Exam Auditor when required.

External Assessor-Qualification Wales(QW) roles
External Assessors are contracted to assess and document learner competence against Qualification Standards using a variety of assessment methods. They also provide and support to the Quality Delivery team. Lead External Assessors support, standardise and quality assure External Assessors.

TAQA roles
TAQA is an umbrella term for a host of qualifications and is an acronym for Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance. TAQA is not a course nor a qualification but a suite of different qualifications. A TAQA Assessor assesses learner competence against TAQA standards. A TAQA Internal Quality Assurer (TAQA IQA) conducts the Quality Assurance procedures for the TAQA qualification.
