Other ways to get involved
There are multiple ways that you can engage with City & Guilds to support skilling, upskilling and reskilling within your industry.
It’s important for us to keep employers at the heart of education at every stage and we are always looking for industry experts to support with the development and validation of our technical qualifications. City & Guilds work with a vast number of employers, industry experts and professional associations from across a wide range of industries. We continually strive to meet the needs of people joining employment in such industries. Together we seek to continually raise professional standards and shape the future of the workforce.
The current Level 2 and Level 3 qualification reforms in England, and the assessments completed as part of T Level technical qualifications (TQs) require the direct involvement of experts from organisations of all sizes.

Employer Industry Boards
Our Employer Industry Boards (EIB’s) give employers a meaningful voice in shaping skills development. Each board is made up of committed, voluntary representatives who offer expert insight and guidance. Their input helps inform our product strategy and ensures our qualifications and training programmes remain inclusive and relevant to learners moving from education into the workforce.
City & Guilds works with a wide network of employers, industry specialists and professional associations across the multiple sectors. Our Employer Industry Boards bring together these experts to help us continually respond to the evolving needs of industries and the people entering them.
If you would like to join one of our EIBs or learn more about how they operate, please complete the Expression of Interest form. Further information is available on our Employer Engagement page.
